Try out Windows Phone 7.5 from any touchscreen mobile

So you’ve been hearing the buzz about the new Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system and you want to actually see it in action? Well, you can try it out from your touchscreen smartphone right now!

Microsoft has apparently whipped up a cool little demo of the OS in the form of an HTML5 web page that anyone can access. Through your mobile phone’s browser, just head over to http://aka.ms/wpdemo and check it out. It works perfectly on the iPhone, almost all Android devices, the Nokia Symbian range and should theoretically run fine on all other handsets with a modern browser too.

We just tried it out for ourselves and given the hands-on time we got with the Nokia Lumia 800 earlier this month, we have to say that this is pretty awesome. The experience is the same, although the accessibility is obviously limited. If you just want to get a taste of Windows Phone, this demo is the best way to do it right now.
