Motorola Atrix 3 rumoured to have quad-core, 10-MP cam and a huge battery
If specifications from a new report are to be believed, the new flagship handset from the mobile giant might be able to go toe-to-toe with any smartphone out there
As we lead up to Mobile World Congress next week, there hasn’t been much news coming in from what to expect from Motorola. The company has been unusually quiet and leaks have been hard to come by.
But now, Chinese newspaper Tian Jin Daily has gotten their hands on a mobile phone that they claim is the company’s new flagship – the Atrix 3. Apparently, it will sport a 4.3-inch touchscreen with a high-def 720p resolution and it’ll be powered by a quad-core Tegra 3 processor. The report also suggests 2GB of RAM, but that seems a bit hard to believe. On the multimedia front, you can expect a 10-megapixel camera, capable of FullHD video. And keeping in line with the company’s newfound focus on battery life – as demonstrated with the Razr Maxx – the Atrix 3 might come with a similarly huge 3300mAh battery.
For some time now, we have been hearing rumours of the Motorola Atrix 2 coming to India this month or in March, but it hasn’t materialised yet. It would be a pity if one of the world’s largest smartphone markets gets the Atrix 2 while the rest of the world welcomes the next-generation device.
