MI 6 Release Date: After a series of rumors in the smartphone world, there are truths unveiling. In the list of stories was the Samsung S8 spec & price, then came the iPhone rumors followed by Xiaomi Mi 6 talks.
Initially, the next flagship device from Xiaomi was rumored to be published at the Mobile World Congress 2017. But after the company remained silent, the date was rumored as today, April 11, 2017. The company had announced that the release would be in April and the news heads took the privilege to decide the date as today. Now Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi has announced that the official release will be on April 19, 2017, and the unveiling will happen at the University of Technology Gymnasium, Beijing. Along with Xiomi Mi6, the other variant of the phone, mi 6 Plus which features more space is also being released. The confirmation of release was made by the CEO through a live streaming video with Xiomi fans.
Pricing of Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus:
Regarding pricing, maybe the Xiomi Mi 6 Plus will be the most expensive smartphone from Xiomi. Xiomi Mi 6 with 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage could come out for sale at 2,199 Yuan which is near Rs 20,000, and the other variant with 128 GB storage would cost 2,599 Yuan which is around Rs 24,000.
On the other hand, Mi 6 Plus would range from Yuan 2,699 for the 6GB RAM paired with 64GB storage, around 3,099 Yuan for the variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB, while 6GB RAM coupled with 256GB storage is said to cost around 3,699 Yuan.

The difference between Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus:
The major difference between the two phones lies in the storage space and the massive screen. There is a notable difference in the size of the
screen. Mi 6 has a screen of 5.15 inches while the screen of Mi 6 Plus is 5.7 inches. Mi 6 Plus also has a dual curved edge. The storage is already discussed. There are chances that the battery capacity of the two is different out of one which will b 4000 mAh. Mi 6 plus may have a bigger battery. Xiaomi Mi 6 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat while Mi 6 Plus is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The rear and front cameras of both the phones will be 12 MP and 7 MP respectively.
