Airtel 4G smartphone: The India’s largest telecom operator Bharti Airtel is in talks with the multiple mobile phone makers to bring its new 4G smartphone. The Airtel 4G smartphone price is in between the Rs 2,500 to 2,700.
Counter to Jio: Airtel launches its 4G smartphone at Rs 2,500:
Reliance Jio company Chairman Mukesh Ambani has announced the plans to offer the internet enabled feature phone. The refundable deposit of Jio 4G phones is Rs 1,500. Bharti Airtel is placing its bet on a full-fledged smartphone. It believes the people would be ready to shell out the little more to get the loaded phones.
The source familiar with the development said the Airtel new 4G smartphone would be launching on the Diwali. It will come with the Airtel’s 4G connections, and “attractive” data and voice call plans to pursue market users.
Airtel 4G smartphone specs:
He said the dual-SIM 4G smartphone would support the 4-inch display. This phone has front and rear cameras. The 4G smartphone also contains the VoLTE calling and a solid battery life. The Android phone will come with the 1GB of RAM. He did not say when the smartphone would be available for the booking.
Jiophone bookings and its offers:
In July Reliance Jio had announced that formal booking for the JioPhone would is open 24th August. The phone itself expect to be available from the September.
Based on the industry estimates, six million bookings have been recorded for the Reliance Jiophone. It offers the free voice calls and SMS for life. It is also offering the unlimited data for Rs 153 per month.
Airtel offers along with 4G smartphone:
The specific such as the name of the phone makers that the Airtel is brought with the exact offer plan on the anvil is still under the cover. It is learnt that the Suni Mittal Company will co-promote the 4G smartphone with the makers. Behind this, the Airtel is also planning to offer its retail distribution muscle to take the phone to the masses.

The Airtel spokesperson said the Airtel refuse to comment on a detailed email questionnaire sent by the PTI. “As a policy, we don’t comment on the market speculation”.
Airtel strategy to counter the Reliance Jio offering is based on its belief. The Indian telecom consumers are looking for the large screen headsets experience at a low price.
Hence, the Bharti Airtel’s new 4G headset pack offering will target users looking to upgrade from the feature phones.
The Reliance Jio which started accepting the pre-bookings of Jio 4G phone on 24th August. It was forced to suspend the process after the whopping over 6 million JioPhone pre orders within three days.

The provision of the Jio n4G Phone is expected to start during the Navratri festival starting 21st September based on the channel partner of the Reliance Retail.
