Phone Mantra was born out of a simple need: a website that caters to every step of the mobile phone experience in India.

In years of covering the mobile sector in newspapers, magazines and websites, our editors often found that there wasn’t a single website they could go to for all their needs. Different portals became the go-to choice for news, reviews, images, videos, specifications, apps and anything else related to phones.

There was also the problem of foreign content, which is not always applicable to an Indian audience. Some reviews and handsets are generic enough to give you an idea, but others go into specifics of features for that country, which is quite useless for a phone buyer in India.

So we decided to round up all of this information in one place, making it easy to find everything you would want to know about mobile phones.

And just in case this data is still too confusing to make a purchase decision, our editors will help you out with the Ask Phone Mantra service, where they personally read and reply to each query.
