In the telecom sector, it has just a year since the launch of Reliance Jio and the company has created waves of disruption with first, its free offer period of six months and second, the range of aggressively priced offers that have forced the incumbent operators to drop their tariffs too.
Is Reliance JioFiber launching soon?
With the broadband industry, JioFiber has expected to do the same. The state of the art technology has introduced the service to bring high-speed broadband at nominal prices. Still, service launch date is under question.
The company announced that they would have to start JioFiber in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, Surat and Vadodara earlier this year for free under its JioFiber Preview offer.
A picture posted on Reddit last month showing us a glimpse of what the JioFiber might look like. With a top of 100GB per month at Rs 0 for three months, the image indicates that the company will have offering 100Mbps speed.
It has expected to launch in the last quarter of this year:
Official time stamp has not given to the commercial launch of the service, but it has supposed to begin in the fourth quarter of this year. Even though the data is free, the user has to pay Rs 4,500 for the installation. Later, according to the company, this amount can have refunded.
With the new service, one of the biggest factors is a free period of three months. In September, with its 4G services similar to what Reliance Jio did, JioFiber has expected to create the same effect in the broadband industry.
Reliance Jio broadband service JioFiber has been rolled out in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, Delhi-NCR, Surat and Vadodara for available under its JioFiber Preview offer, the Reliance Jio has officially announced.
Also with a JioMedia share device, Jio broadband offer will come and a smart set top box, routers and power line communication media in a bid to promote additional Jio services. The broadband services prices have expected to start at Rs 500 for 600 GB data for 1000 GB data at 100 Mbps speed subscribers that have required to pay Rs 2,000 a month later when the offer period ends.
