22 million summoned dogs, 1.3 billion killed enemies and almost 12 million matches: achievements of players in the online mode of Ghost of Tsushima

The official PlayStation microblogging team has shared a summary of player statistics for ten days since the launch of the Legends online mode in the samurai action game Ghost of Tsushima from Sucker Punch Productions.

During the specified period of time, users managed to participate in 11.7 million matches. Previously, the developers gave a similar figure for the first weekend – over 2 million.

Among other things, in total, Legends players defeated 1.3 billion opponents, 141 million of which were oni (demons from Japanese mythology). The most popular of the four classes was the killer – he was chosen in 30% of cases.

It also became known that in the first ten days since the launch of Legends, gamers have summoned more than 22.7 million ghost dogs. PlayStation suggests that this figure is the same for stroking animals.

“Wow! Thanks for the incredible response to Ghost of Tsushima: Legends! We’re overwhelmed by these statistics and can’t wait to play The Tale of Iyo tomorrow! ” – commented on the achievements of Legends users at Sucker Punch Productions.

The Tale of Iyo is the first of the promised forays in Legends. The raid is designed for four people and is an “epic three-part adventure” The event will start on October 30.

Ghost of Tsushima went on sale July 17 this year exclusively on the PlayStation 4. According to the head of Sony Interactive Entertainment Jim Ryan (Jim Ryan), the game has exceeded all expectations of the publisher.
