Affordable MSI Optix G241V esports monitor features Night Vision
The Optix G241V esports monitor with 23.8 inches diagonal IPS has been added to the MSI product range. It is noted that the new product belongs to relatively inexpensive devices, but the exact price has not yet been disclosed.
The panel has a traditional flat shape. The resolution is 1920 × 1080 pixels, which corresponds to the Full HD format. Brightness, contrast and dynamic contrast – 250 cd / m 2 , 1000: 1 and 100 million: 1. The horizontal and vertical viewing angles reach 178 degrees.
The monitor has a refresh rate of 75 Hz and a response time of 4 ms. It claims 81.2 percent DCI-P3 color space and 102.4 percent sRGB color space. AMD FreeSync technology helps improve the gaming experience by enhancing the smoothness.
The new product includes the Night Vision function, which helps to improve the display of dark scenes in movies or games. Instead of brightening the entire image as is usually done, activating Night Vision only improves detail in dark areas of the image.
Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light systems help reduce eye strain during prolonged battles. To connect signal sources, one DisplayPort 1.2a and one HDMI 1.4 are available. The panel boasts narrow bezels at the sides and top.
