Affordable OPPO A55 5G smartphone debuts with triple camera, HD + screen and powerful battery
OPPO has announced the A55 5G mid-range smartphone equipped with a Mediatek Dimensity 700 processor with a built-in modem to support the fifth-generation cellular networks.
The device received a 6.5-inch HD + display with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels. This panel covers 88.7% of the front surface area and provides 71% coverage of the NTSC color space.
A small screen notch houses an 8MP camera with a maximum aperture of f / 2.0. The main camera received a triple configuration: a 13-megapixel unit with a maximum aperture of f / 2.2, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro module.
The smartphone carries 6 GB of RAM onboard. The flash drive with a capacity of 128 GB can be supplemented with a microSD card. There is a side fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless adapters.
The device is equipped with a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A powerful rechargeable battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh is responsible for the power supply. Dimensions are 163.9 × 75.7 × 8.4 mm, weight – 186 g.
The operating system is ColorOS 11.1, based on Android 11. The OPPO A55 5G model will be available for an estimated price of $242.47.
