Amazon this week unveiled a new generation of Amazon Echo Frames smart glasses. The company has equipped the new product with improved sound quality, a new battery, and other improvements. The new device is available for pre-order.
Amazon Echo Frames Stylish Smart Glasses Introduced
Users can pre-order Amazon Echo Frames on Amazon for $ 250. However, users who have already purchased the first generation product (Day 1 Edition) can upgrade to the newer model for as little as $ 70. Day 1 Edition glasses were available for $ 180, so users pay for the difference.
Smart glasses Amazon Echo Frames received massive temples that hide the filling. The glasses are available in Modern Tortoise, Horizon Blue, and Classic Black. They are compatible with prescription lenses.
The glasses connect via Bluetooth with iOS and Android smartphones and support smart voice assistants, including Amazon Alexa. The glasses can play music and transmit the interlocutor’s voice, while the sound quality has been improved and the battery will last longer. They now automatically adjust the volume based on the noise level. Also, Amazon Echo Frames has new features such as a microphone, VIP filters, support for event reminders, and group messages.
Amazon says the new glasses will provide 40% more battery life than the first generation.
