Judging by the frequencies

Asus is not shy about listing its yet-to-be-unveiled flagship Ryzen 9 5900HX and Ryzen 9 5900HS processors with its updated gaming laptops. The characteristics and performance of the former we analyzed in the last news, and in this one, we will focus on the Ryzen 9 4900HS.

AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS 8-core mobile processor is slightly faster than Ryzen 9 4900HS

The Ryzen 9 5900HS, like the current generation model, will have eight cores and support multi-threading. It differs from its older brother with a TDP limited to 35 W and lack of overclocking support – which is why the Ryzen 9 4900HS will become a frequent guest in more compact laptops (like the 14-inch ROG Zephyrus G14), in which it is impossible to organize a cooling subsystem with very high performance

Ryzen 9 5900HS added in frequencies: the base is 3.1 GHz versus 3.0 GHz for Ryzen 9 4900HS, and the frequency in Boost mode increased by 200 MHz – up to 4.5 GHz. Surely in the benchmarks, this processor will be faster than the Ryzen 9 4900HS, but so far, this data is not yet available.
