Apple Music now available on Google Nest smart speakers and displays
Google has announced that Google Assistant-enabled smart speakers and smart displays will receive support for Apple Music’s audio streaming service starting today. It will initially be available to users from the US, UK, France, Germany, and Japan.
To take full advantage of the music service on devices with Google Assistant, users first need to link their Apple Music account to the Google Home app. In addition, it will be possible to set Apple Music as the default audio streaming service. Users will be able to ask Google Assistant to play any song or playlist from Apple Music.
It’s worth noting that owners of multiple compatible devices will be able to take full advantage of them by dynamically moving music from one device to another or playing audio on all speakers at the same time. Apple Music is also available on Sonos and Amazon Echo speakers.
