Apparently, Apple is going to conduct major update to iMessage
According to Chinese sources, Apple filed a patent application that describes the ability to change the text in already sent text messages.

The description of the patent says that after sending SMS it can really be corrected. Users will be able to call the editing option by clicking and holding on the message.
In addition, the function of delayed sending messages is planned. After clicking the “Send” button, the user will have 1 minute of time to re-read the written message and correct the message.
The source also writes that the patent describes other functions, such as support for translating SMS into various languages, displaying private information, grouping, viewing at the same time, and so on.
