The Elec says that after launching professional tablets with Mini-LED panels early next year, the company will introduce the iPad Pro with OLED panels towards the end. According to the leak, Samsung and LG are already developing such displays for Apple tablets.

Many sources claim that the Mini-LED screen will only receive the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, which is expected to launch in March. The more compact iPad Pro will be available with the familiar LCD screen until it gets OLED in the second half of 2021.

Recall that the last time Apple updated the iPad Pro in March this year. The update was not large-scale: the tablet got a slightly improved chipset, an additional sensor for the main camera, and a LiDAR sensor. This was the first iPad Pro update since it underwent a series of groundbreaking changes in October 2018.
