ASUS ROG Phone 5 gaming smartphone appeared in Geekbench with 16 GB of RAM

Until the end of this quarter, ASUS is expected to announce the ROG Phone 5 smartphone for gamers. Information about one of the samples of the device appeared in the popular Geekbench benchmark.

The device is codenamed ASUS_I005DA. A powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with eight cores (up to 2.84 GHz), an Adreno 660 graphics accelerator, and a Snapdragon X60 5G modem is used.

The tested device is equipped with 16 GB of RAM. The operating system is Android 11. In single-core mode, the ROG Phone 5 smartphone scored 1125 points, in multi-core mode – 3714 points.

The novelty has already been seen on the China Telecommunications Equipment Certification Authority (TENAA). The certification says it has a 6.78-inch display.

The overall dimensions of the device are indicated – 172.8 × 77.3 × 10.3 mm. A powerful rechargeable battery will provide power with a capacity of 6000 mAh, consisting of two blocks. New data suggests support for fast 65-watt charging.

The rear part will house a camera containing at least three optical modules with image sensors. The resolution of the primary sensor will be 64 million pixels.
