Bandai Namco will show Scarlet Nexus, Little Nightmares II, and Little Hope at IgroMir

In July it became known that this year “IgroMir” will be held only in the online format. We have already reported that 1C will appear there with a presentation of King’s Bounty II and CD Projekt RED with a demonstration of the Russian version of Cyberpunk 2077. Now the publishing house Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has announced its participation in the largest Russian gaming exhibition.

On October 3, during the broadcast in the official IgroMir group on the VKontakte network, the company will tell about its new products, and in the official communities it will give away nice prizes. Bandai Namco’s announced presentation schedule looks like this:

  • 17: 35-17: 54 – Scarlet Nexus;
  • 21: 45–22: 05 – Little Nightmares II;
  • 22: 05–22: 35 – The Dark Pictures: Little Hope.

The Scarlet Nexus presentation will begin with an interview during which director Kenji Anabuki, who worked on the Tales of series, and producer Keita Iizuka, former producer of Code Vein, will talk about the new game and answer questions from VKontakte users. … And in the official group  Bandai Namco Entertainment, the prize draw will begin.

According to the plot of the action RPG Scarlet Nexus, in the distant future, people discovered a psionic hormone in the brain that gives psychic abilities. This changed them, but the payback was the emergence of mutants. Humanity had to create the Forces of Suppression of Others, which included fighters with developed psychic abilities. Recently, a fresh trailer for this project was shown at TGS 2020.

At 9:45 pm, Bandai Namco Entertainment producer Lucas Roussel will talk about Little Nightmares II. On the same day, a drawing of themed gifts will take place in the official Little Nightmares group on VKontakte.

In Little Nightmares II, players take on the role of a little boy named Mono who is trapped in a world distorted by the humming transmission of a distant tower. Together with Sixth – a girl in a yellow raincoat from the first part  – as a guide, Mono intends to uncover the dark secrets of the Lighthouse and save Sixth from a terrible fate. Recently, Studio Tarsier revealed the details of Little Nightmares II editions.

Finally, at 10:05 pm, the gameplay of the action-adventure thriller Little Hope from The Dark Pictures anthology will be shown with commentary by producer Dan McDonald of Supermassive Games and streamer Viktor Zuev. At the same time, in the official group of the game, there will be a drawing of keys for the first part of the anthology – Man of Medan (in the PC version).

In The Dark Pictures – Little Hope, four college students, and their professor John take a field trip to Massachusetts. As a result of the accident, the heroes will find themselves in the abandoned town of Little Hope with a dark past, from where a dense curtain of fog prevents them from getting out. There, the heroes begin to be haunted by nightmarish ghosts and visions of the past. The key to the looming threat was some connection between students, 17th-century settlers, and a family living in New England in the 1970s. In August, a cutscene featuring the non-linear nature of Little Hope’s storytelling aired.
