CD Projekt RED has announced the exact start time for preloading and unlocking Cyberpunk 2077 on different platforms
The Polish studio CD Projekt RED on the official website of its ambitious action RPG Cyberpunk 2077 announced the exact time of the start of the preload and release of the game on PC and consoles.
As expected, the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will be able to download Cyberpunk 2077 on December 8 at midnight local time. On Xbox consoles, the option became available yesterday, December 3, at 19:00 Moscow time.
Recall that until the release of the corresponding free patch Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5, Xbox Series X and S will work only in backward compatibility mode. The update is expected to be released in 2021.
On PC, the start of preloading is scheduled for December 7th. Exactly when pre-order owners can start downloading depends on the digital store: GOG at 2:00 p.m. ET, Steam and Epic Games Store at 7:00 p.m.
As for unlocking Cyberpunk 2077, the game will be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on December 10 exactly at midnight local time.
PC users (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store) and Google Stadia will have to wait three hours: on these platforms, the opportunity to play Cyberpunk 2077 will open at 3:00 Moscow time.
Earlier, CD Projekt RED asked players not to start streaming Cyberpunk 2077 ahead of time. The limitation will expire on December 9 at 14:00 Moscow time.
