CD Projekt RED intends to defend its position in court when considering claims related to Cyberpunk 2077

Following the problematic release of Cyberpunk 2077, the drop in CD Projekt RED shares caused discontent among the company’s investors. Many felt that the Polish studio had misled them, and this was the reason for the losses incurred. Some shareholders even decided to defend their rights in court. They were found both in Poland and in the United States, but CDPR does not agree with their claims. The developers intend to actively defend themselves in court when considering cases concerning Cyberpunk 2077.

According to Bloomberg, CD Projekt RED released a statement after the law firm Rosen announced a class action lawsuit. The main complaint is the lies of the leaders of the Polish studio about the state of the console versions of Cyberpunk 2077. Recall: due to technical problems, the game was removed from the PlayStation Store.

According to the lawsuit, investors suffered losses when reliable information appeared about the shortcomings of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and Xbox One. It is also important to note that the console versions of the project have really not received due attention. CDPR spoke about this during a recent unscheduled meeting with investors.
