Chuwi recently introduced the CoreBox mini-PC, which will be available at the end of May for $ 299 on Amazon, and then on AliExpress.

This mini-computer destroys the usual impression of a traditional desktop computer: having a case size of only 2 liters, it is more convenient for everyday use and is not inferior to many competitors in performance. The CoreBox is equipped with an Intel Core i5 5257U processor and an integrated Iris Graphics 6100 graphics card, 8 GB of RAM, and a 256 GB solid-state drive.
The following are the test results in popular benchmarks:
- CPU-Z: single-threaded mode: 292.2; multithreaded: 811.2
- Geekbench 4: single-threaded mode: 3483; multithreaded: 6407
- AS SSD Benchmark: Read: 517 MB / s, Write: 435 MB / s
In real use, CoreBox’s performance is also very good. A computer can smoothly decode 4K video and perform the most common tasks, including design, editing, programming, and so on.
