Retractable front camera eliminates screen cutout
In October last year, Coolpad released the Cool 5 smartphone on a single-chip Helio P22 system, equipped with a 6.22-inch display with bangs and a 13MP dual camera. Today the manufacturer presented the successor to this model – Coolpad Cool 6.

One of the main features of the Coolpad Cool 6 is the bezel-less display with no cutouts. The screen size is 6.53 inches, the resolution is 2340 x 1080 pixels. The retractable front camera with a resolution of 21 megapixels allowed us to abandon the cutouts.
The rear panel houses a fingerprint sensor and a triple camera consisting of a 48MP main module and two 2MP auxiliary modules.
The Coolpad Cool 6 is based on the SoC Helio P70. Two options are offered: with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory and with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory for $ 150 and 175, respectively. The MicroSD slot can accommodate a card up to 256 GB. The power source is a 4000 mAh battery. The equipment includes a USB-C port. The smartphone runs Android 10. It comes in two color options.
