Cyberpunk slasher Ghostrunner will be released on October 27 – pre-orders have already started
Publishers All In! Games and 505 Games have partnered with One More Level, 3D Realms, and Slipgate Ironworks to announce the release date for their cyberpunk first-person shooter Ghostrunner.
Ghostrunner will go on sale on October 27 this year for PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The cost of the project will be from 1,499 to 1,799 rubles, depending on the platform.
In early October, the developers also promised to conduct a private beta test of Ghostrunner. To get a chance to participate in the tests, you must fill out a special form.
The announcement was accompanied by a trailer heralding the pre-orders for Ghostrunner. As a bonus, two katanas are relied on – the blades will not be available for purchase after the game is released. In addition, one of the blades is unique to each platform:
- Steam – 1499 rubles (1199 rubles including pre-release discounts);
- GOG – 1499 rubles (1209 rubles);
- Epic Games Store – 649 rubles (519 rubles);
- Microsoft Store – $ 30;
- PlayStation Store – 1,799 rubles (1,439 rubles for PS Plus subscribers).The developers position Ghostrunner as a hardcore first-person slasher: players have to run on walls, use a grappling hook, slow downtime and cut enemies with one swing of their katana.
Ghostrunner promises a “super dynamic storyline” in which the user is assigned the role of a cyber warrior with the task of preventing the final extinction of humanity.
