Dell Alienware AW2721D and AW3821DW gaming monitors will receive an “accelerated” Fast IPS matrix

Dell is reportedly preparing two new gaming-grade monitors, the Alienware AW2721D and Alienware AW3821DW panels, for demanding users, according to internet sources.

Both new products will be based on the “fast” Fast IPS matrix: the declared response time is 1 ms. Talking about Display HDR 600 certification; peak brightness will reach 600 cd / m ².

The AW2721D will be 27 inches in size and have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which corresponds to the QHD format. The monitor will boast a high refresh rate of 240 Hz. DCI-P3 color space coverage will exceed 95%. In addition, it talks about a frameless design, which will allow the panel to be used in multi-display configurations.

The Alienware AW3821DW version will be equipped with a 37.5-inch display with a resolution of 3840 × 1600 pixels. The refresh rate will be 144 Hz. This model is known to provide 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.

Unfortunately, other technical characteristics of the upcoming new products were not disclosed. The official announcement may take place in the current or next quarter.
