Czech studio SCS Software, encourages players to stay at home.
The authors of Euro Truck Simulator 2 announced the #TruckAtHome event, during which the community must fulfill orders, regardless of cargo size and distance. The only requirement is a World of Trucks account. For every 20 million kilometers traveled by users, Steam keys are handed out.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 developers regularly give out free keys
On April 2, players traveled 460 million kilometers in popular truck simulations, including 60 million kilometers in six hours. The creators handed out additional free activation keys for add-ons in American Truck Simulator (Utah) and Euro Truck Simulator 2 (Road to the Black Sea).
On Thursday, ETS2 had over 55,000 concurrent users on Steam.
Also on April 3, the studio announced that it donates 9,400 euros to people and organizations involved in the fight against the epidemic.
The #TruckAtHome promotion will last until April 7, and until the evening of April 6, the game and add-ons can be purchased with discounts up to 75%.
