New MIUI 12 Shell Available for Chinese Users
Flagship Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro get stable MIUI 12 with “super wallpapers”
Currently, stable MIUI 12 is available only for Chinese versions of smartphones. The firmware with MIUI number 12.0.1.0 has a size of 820 MB.
Users of international models Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will have to wait. However, the release of the stable version for China indicates the imminent release of global firmware.
The global version of MIUI 12 is currently in a test phase. Beta users can already take part in beta testing: Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 9, Xiaomi Mi 9T, and Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7S.
Xiaomi plans to release stable MIUI 12 for Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones in three stages. The shell is based on the Android 10 operating system. It offers a significantly redesigned interface, beautiful animated super wallpapers, and generally takes animation to a new level, improves a dark theme, improves security, offers redesigned proprietary applications, and much more.
