Sales of the revived Moskvich brand today are less than 2,500 cars. This is for all the time since the revival of the brand.
Data at the request of Autonews was shared directly with the company. It is worth clarifying that we are talking about car sales, and not about registrations with the traffic police.
For all the time of sales of modern “Moskvich” sold less than 2500 cars
Sales of “Moskvich” started at the end of last year, so we can say that we are talking about the first half of the year since the launch. That is, on average, about 400 cars are sold per month, but, apparently, the situation has improved recently, as the company adds that it sold 860 cars in May.
It is still difficult to say whether the brand is successful, but at least at the end of May, Moskvich took 10th place in the ranking of the best-selling brands in the Russian automotive market, although the gap from the leader represented by Lada was about ten times.
