Lenovo today released its financial year 2020/2021 report. During the reporting period, revenue of $ 14.5 billion was generated. The PC and Smart Devices Group (PCSD), a personal computer business that is part of the Intelligent Devices Group, which is the main contributor to the company’s revenue, grew by 8% over the year to $ 11.5 billion. Recall that according to the results of the last quarter, Lenovo is the leader among PC manufacturers , holding 23.7% of the market.
The Mobile Business Group (MBG) also posted year-over-year revenue growth, according to the report’s authors, “continuing to recover strongly from the impact of COVID-19.”
The Data Center Group (DCG) added 11% revenue to $ 1.48 billion.
Finally, the Intelligent Transformation business line also saw more than 10% growth across all segments. In particular, in the Smart Internet of Things segment, growth exceeded 36%, in the Smart Infrastructure segment it was 21%, and in the Smart Verticals segment – 72%. The Software and Services segment grew by 39%. He alone brought in $ 1.2 billion, which is about 8.5% of all Lenovo Group’s revenue.
