The smartphone will go on sale in October
New details have appeared on the Web about another model of the line of Samsung’s flagship smartphones – Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (aka Galaxy S20 Lite). The novelty is reported to be released in October, but it will not please either the price or the cameras.

If previously the main sensor of the Isocell GN1 image sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels was attributed to the smartphone, now it is said about using sensors with a resolution of only 12 megapixels in the device – one will be connected to an ultra-wide-angle lens, the other to an ordinary wide-angle one. The third module with an 8MP sensor will provide a 3x optical zoom. And no separate module for analyzing the depth of the scene or shooting macro. In general, the cameras of the model face a tangible simplification in comparison with the older brothers. As for the front camera, its resolution will be 32 megapixels.
The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition will be based on the Snapdragon 865, complemented by at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB of flash storage. The diagonal of the screen will range from 6.5 to 6.7 inches, that is, the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition will fit between the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 +.
Now about the prices. The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition is expected to launch in October for around $ 750. For comparison, the Galaxy S10 Lite costs $ 650 at the time of its debut, so the new model will rise in price. But this does not prevent Samsung from building an optimistic sales forecast – 5 million Galaxy S20 Fan Edition by the end of the year.
