Huawei has released the first beta version of Magic UI 4 for Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro ( Review ), Honor V20, and Honor Magic 2 smartphones.

Honor is sold but not forgotten. A new batch of Honor smartphones joins the big EMUI 11 update

As a reminder, the Honor brand was officially transferred to an independent consortium last week in an attempt to get the brand out of US sanctions against Huawei. However, Huawei continues to work on a software shell for Honor smartphones. 

Magic UI 4.0 is a branded version of EMUI 11 that is released for Honor smartphones. An updated stable shell with many new features is already available for Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro, Honor 30 Pro +, Honor V30, and Honor V30 Pro. 

Testing has now begun for last year’s models. So far, Magic UI 4.0 (11.0.0.115) is available for Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor V20, and Honor Magic 2 users who signed up for the Closed Beta.

In Russia, the Magic UI 4.0 beta test is now being completed among users of Honor View 30 Pro, Honor 30 Pro +, and Honor 30.
