During the announcement of the EMUI 1 1 shell, Huawei promised not to hesitate in updating its smartphones to the most current firmware version. No sooner said than done: Honor V30 Pro has already received Magic UI 4.0 – a proprietary version of EMUI 11. However, the update is not yet available to everyone.

The firmware is presented as an internal beta version. Then the public beta will be released, and only then the final version. He, apparently, will appear within a month or two. As for the beta version of Magic UI 4.0, it passes under the number 4.0.0.115 (C00E115R4P5), and the size is almost 3 GB.
Next in line for Magic UI 4.0 are the Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro. True, the Chinese source does not have data on the release date of the corresponding update for them. As a reminder, Honor’s current flagships are also the first contenders for HarmonyOS 2.0. A version of this operating system, adapted for smartphones, will be released at the end of the year, and next year most of the most current models of Huawei and Honor smartphones can switch to it.
