Designer Paul Robinson fantasized about what the PlayStation 5 might look like, based on the design and colors of the announced DualSense gamepad.
How the PlayStation 5 would look in the style of DualSense and Xbox Series X
In the first version, the author relied on what the development kit or PlayStation 5 devkit looks like, so the computer model got the usual shape with design elements borrowed from the DualSense controller.
The second option was created amid rumors that the PlayStation 5 has very serious problems with overheating. Allegedly, Sony is thinking about postponing the console output for 6-12 months in order to have time for a complete redesign of the design and cooling system. Therefore, in this version, the PlayStation 5 is very similar to the Xbox Series X.
Please note that these images are not official. This is just a figment of the designer’s imagination, which you can appreciate while waiting for Sony to officially unveil its next-generation console.
The PlayStation 5 is expected this fall.
