Huawei has patented the design of two smartphones, which should receive sub-screen front cameras. The Chinese National Intellectual Property Office only today published sketches of smartphones, on the basis of which the Letsgodigital resource created the first images of the upcoming Huawei flagships.

Both smartphones have similar front panels, only the backs and systems of the main cameras differ. Presumably, the model with a round camera will be released in the Huawei Mate 40 line this year, and the second smartphone with a camera in one line will become the representative of the Huawei P50 series next year. The second phone has a periscope camera for high-quality optical zoom.
Currently, various manufacturers are working on smartphones, the front cameras of which will be hidden under the surface of the display. Among them are Samsung, Xiaomi, and Oppo. Analysts expect the technology to reach commercial production later this year.
Earlier it was reported that Huawei was the first to release a smartphone with a front camera hidden under the surface of the screen.
