Huawei unveils MateBook D 2020 Ryzen Edition laptops with Ryzen 4000 processors

The Chinese company Huawei, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of telecommunications equipment, has unveiled the MateBook D 2020 Ryzen Edition laptop computers based on the AMD hardware platform.

The MateBook D14 and MateBook D15 models debuted, equipped with a display measuring 14 and 15.6 inches, respectively. In both cases, a Full HD IPS matrix with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels is used. The screen occupies 84% ​​of the surface area of ​​the lid in the younger version and 87% in the older one.

Computing load is carried by the Ryzen 7 4700U processor, which contains eight processing cores and eight threads, and is clocked at 2.0 GHz (up to 4.1 GHz). The chip includes an integrated graphics accelerator. In addition, modifications with a six-core Ryzen 5 4500U processor with a clock speed of 2.3-4.0 GHz will be offered.

In the arsenal of new products – 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and a solid-state drive NVMe SSD with a capacity of 512 GB. There is a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.

A compact charger weighing 160 grams with a USB Type-C connector has a power of 65 W: the energy reserve can be replenished by 53% in half an hour.

The notebooks will be available in gray and silver colors. Price – from 585 to 670 USD depending on the size of the display and the model of the processor used.
