HyperX, the gaming arm of Kingston Technology, has unveiled the HyperX SoloCast USB microphone for streamers and multimedia creators. The advantages of the device include the presence of a touch switch and an LED status indicator, as well as a cardio-diode radiation pattern, which makes it possible to separate the useful signal from the surrounding background.

An electret condenser microphone with a frequency response of 20-20,000 Hz is installed in the housing. The microphone weighs 261 g, the stand is 125 g, and the total weight with a 2 m cable is 430 g.
