IGN Voted Most Anticipated Near-Future PS5 Game – Horizon Forbidden West Defeated
The publication IGN conducted among its readers to vote for the most anticipated game of the near future for PlayStation 5. The winner among the five candidates was Horizon Forbidden West.
The total number of respondents exceeded 25 thousand people, of which 47.9% voted for the upcoming open-world action game from Guerrilla Games. According to the latest statements from Sony, the sequel to Aloy’s adventures should be released in the second half of 2021 on PS5 and PS4.
The next place in the rating was taken by Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart with 29.6% of votes. This Insomniac Games project will go on sale on June 11th. The developers recently published a 15-minute gameplay demo that allows you to preview the game.
The conditional “bronze” of the list went to Deathloop with 8.1% of the votes. Kena: Bridge of Spirits is only 0.2% behind the Arkane Studios action game, and GhostWire: Tokyo is in the last place – it was named the most anticipated game for the PlayStation 5 by only 6.6% of respondents.
It should be noted that projects released in 2022 or later did not participate in the voting. These include, for example, the new God of War and Gran Turismo 7.
