In Russia, the Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus card will be available starting in June at an estimated price of 176 USD.
Creative Technology introduced the Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus sound card, designed for installation in a PCIe slot. It is a development of the Sound BlasterX AE-5 model.
Introduced Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus Sound Card
Like other models in the AE series, the new card is built on the Sound Core3D sound processor. The AE-5 model inherits a digital-to-analog converter ESS Saber Ultra with a signal-to-noise ratio of 122 dB, supporting 32-bit representation and sampling frequencies up to 384 kHz. Operational amplifiers are made non-replaceable. A distinctive feature of the AE-5 Plus is the support for Dolby Digital Live and Connect encoding, borrowed from the older models AE-7 and AE-9.
