Xiaomi, as expected, introduced today, July 31, a new gaming-grade smartphone – the Black Shark 3S model running Android 10 operating system with a proprietary Joy UI 12 user interface.
The device is equipped AMOLED-quality display with a diagonal of 6.67 inches, resolution Full HD + (2400 × 1080 pixels), and a brightness of 500 cd / m 2. This panel has a 120Hz refresh rate and a 270Hz touch layer polling rate for excellent gaming responsiveness.
The triple rear camera incorporates a 64-megapixel main sensor, a 13-megapixel unit with ultra-wide-angle optics, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera is capable of forming 20-megapixel images.
The computing load is assigned to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with the Adreno 650 graphics accelerator. It supports work in 5G mobile networks with autonomous (SA) and non-autonomous (NSA) architectures.
The smartphone’s arsenal includes 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, a UFS 3.1 flash drive with a capacity of 128/256/512 GB, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless adapters.
The novelty supports the function of mirroring the screen (Screen Mirroring) via a wired USB 3.0 Type-C interface, which allows you to turn it into a kind of stationary console. There are additional game buttons on the side of the case; in addition, a gyroscope-based control system has been implemented.
