Large-scale City of Ghosts add-on to Cloudpunk will be released on May 25
The independent German studio ION LANDS, in its microblog, announced a specific release date for the large-scale City of Ghosts add-on to its cyberpunk adventure Cloudpunk.
As it became known, the City of Ghosts will go on sale on May 25 this year. On the appointed day, the extension will appear in the assortment of the Steam service. The developers have not yet talked about the release on other platforms.
According to ION LANDS, Marko Dieckmann (Marko Dieckmann), the team is currently in the final stage of development – recording voice-overs and polishing the content.
“We’ve worked hard to freshen up Cloudpunk — there will be new zones and mysteries in [the addon], as well as in-demand features like street racing. We can’t wait to show the city from a different perspective, ”added Dieckmann in a press release.
Earlier it was reported that City of Ghosts would continue the story of the original Cloudpunk and, in addition to Rania, will offer to take on the role of a new hero – a gambler-drunk Hayes.
In addition to new areas, characters, and street races, City of Ghosts contains “several” endings and a story campaign that is not inferior to the main game in terms of duration and richness.
Cloudpunk debuted in April 2020 on PC (Steam) and made it to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in October. The project is distributed and supported on consoles by the publishing house Merge Games.
