The “old” Huawei P30 Pro costs 55 USD more

Huawei P30 Pro New Edition is promoted precisely as a separate model and not just a version of last year’s Huawei P30 Pro. It has been available for pre-order in Germany since May, now open sales begin both in Germany and in several other regions of Europe. The price of Huawei P30 Pro New Edition with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory is 833 Dollars Interestingly, the “old” version of the Huawei P30 Pro is currently offered by the German Huawei website at a discount of 111 dollars – for 778 dollars in the version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory. The version is available “at a discount of 200 euros” – for 889 dollars. Simply put, the original Huawei P30 Pro will cost 55 dollars more than the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition with the same amount of memory.
Huawei pays special attention to the new color. The color of the case called Silver Frost was not offered for the Huawei P30 Pro last year, this option appeared already with the new Huawei P40 Pro. Now it is available for Huawei P30 Pro New Edition. The usual colors are also offered – black and blue-green.
In addition, the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition immediately preloaded a new version of the proprietary shell EMUI 10.1. Unlike the real novelties of 2020, this refreshed version of the Huawei P30 Pro has not lost Google services and applications.
The rest of the smartphone has not changed. The company introduced the original Huawei P30 Pro ( review ) in 2019. The smartphone received a single-chip Kirin 980 system, a Leica quadruple main camera of 40 megapixels, and a 6.47-inch OLED screen with rounded edges, a battery with a capacity of 4200 mAh. It has become Huawei’s latest flagship with pre-installed Google apps and services.
