Recall that last fall, the head of Hasbro Brian Goldner promised that Magic: The Gathering Arena will appear on gadgets running iOS and Android in early 2021. As it turned out, the statement was only half true.

The pre-release edition of Magic: The Gathering Arena Mobile will be cross-playable and will include all the main content (cards, formats) from the big Magic: The Gathering Arena, including the upcoming release of Waldheim.

All Play Store users with a suitable smartphone will be able to play Magic: The Gathering Arena Mobile. Currently, the list of supported devices is small, but expansion is planned by the end of this year.

Wizards of the Coast also shared information about the recommended system requirements for Magic: The Gathering Arena for Android:

For now, Magic: The Gathering Arena is only available on PC. On 2021 scheduled the premiere of the five editions of Magic: The Gathering of the standard format, including the mentioned “Kaldhaym” and crossover with Dungeons & Dragons.
