Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro flagships presented – bright 120Hz displays, Snapdragon 888 and price from $ 680
Meizu today officially presented the flagship smartphones of the new generation: the Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro devices, running the Android 11 operating system with the Flyme 9 proprietary add-on, debuted. The devices are already available for order.
Both models carry a powerful Snapdragon 888 processor with eight cores (up to 2.84 GHz), an Adreno 660 graphics accelerator, and a 5G modem. The amount of RAM reaches 12 GB, the capacity of the flash drive is 256 GB.
Apparatus Meizu 18 received 6.2-inch S-AMOLED E4 format QHD + 1440 × 3200 pixels, refresh rate of 120 Hz, the sampling frequency sensor layer 240 Hz, and peak brightness 1300 cd / m 2.
A 20MP selfie camera is housed in a hole in the center at the top of the screen. The triple rear camera incorporates a 64-megapixel unit with a Sony IMX682 sensor and a maximum aperture of f / 1.6, a 16-megapixel module with wide-angle optics 8-megapixel telephoto unit. Responsible for power is a 4000 mAh battery with support for 36-watt recharging.
The more powerful smartphone Meizu 18 Pro is equipped with a 6.7-inch screen: the characteristics of this panel, except for the size, are identical to the version of Meizu 18.
The front camera is capable of forming 44-megapixel images. The main camera has a four-module configuration: a 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 sensor (f / 1.9), a unit with a 32-megapixel Sony IMX616 sensor, and wide-angle optics (130 degrees), an 8-megapixel component with 3x zoom, and a 3D ToF sensor. The 4500 mAh battery supports 40-watt recharging.
The devices are endowed with an on-screen fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 adapters, an NFC controller, and a USB Type-C port. The following versions of Meizu 18 / Meizu 18 Pro are available:
- 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage – $ 680 / $ 770;
- 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage – $ 710 / $ 850;
- 12GB RAM and 256GB storage – $ 770 / $ 930
