Microsoft today introduced a number of its new devices from the Surface family. Material is already being prepared on laptops, but for now, we’ll talk about headphones. In particular, the company announced a model of Surface Headphones 2.

This is the direct successor to the Surface Headphones 2018 model year, which many thematic resources are highly praised. Probably, due to the success of the first model, the second cannot boast of a huge number of changes.
For example, the design and construction as a whole have been preserved, but, firstly, now the ear cups can be rotated for better wearing around the neck, and secondly, new colours have appeared: black and light grey.
At the same time, the same active noise reduction function with 13 levels, touch control, the function of automatically stopping music playback when removing headphones and all the other main features of the first model was preserved. Apparently, all the same, 40-mm Free Edge emitters are at the core, while the sound quality should be better because Microsoft added Bluetooth 5.0 headphones and Qualcomm aptX support. Autonomy increased from 15 to 20 hours, which is very good, albeit not a record.
Surface EarbudsProbably the main innovation is the price. Surprisingly, headphones have become much cheaper. If the previous model cost $ 350, and the same price will remain in the Microsoft brand store now, the new product is priced at $ 250.
Also, Microsoft for some reason again introduced the Surface Earbuds, which were originally announced last fall. There are no changes, but the price has been reduced from 250 to 200 dollars.
