MSI MEG Aegis Ti5 Becomes World’s First Gaming Desktop with NVIDIA Ampere Graphics

MSI has announced the MEG Aegis Ti5 desktop, which claims to be the world’s first gaming system to include the latest high-performance NVIDIA Ampere graphics.

The desktop is enclosed in an aggressive design and multi-color backlighting. In the front, there is a special switch for quick selection of operating modes with different performance settings.

The computer is equipped with an Intel Core i9-10900K processor, which contains 10 computing cores with the ability to simultaneously process up to 20 instruction streams. The nominal clock speed is 3.7 GHz, the turbo frequency is 5.3 GHz.

The maximum configuration includes 128GB DDR4 RAM and MSI GeForce RTX 3080 graphics accelerator. Three M.2 2280 SSDs, two 2.5 “storage devices, and one 3.5” drive can be installed.

There are Wi-Fi 6 AX201 and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless adapters, as well as 2.5G LAN (Intel WGI225V) and 1G LAN (Intel WGI219V) network controllers. The 80 Plus Gold certified power supply is rated at 750 watts.

The desktop received a proprietary high-performance cooling system Silent Storm Cooling 4. There are interfaces USB 3.2 Gen2 Type C, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, HDMI 1.4, Thunderbolt 3, etc.
