Multiplayer or story add-on? Perhaps at TGA 2020 there will be an announcement related to The Last of Us Part II

Recently, a list of nominees for The Game Awards 2020 in various categories has emerged. The Last of Us Part II was included in nine of them, including the main one – “Game of the Year”. In honor of this, the composer of the project Gustavo Santaolalla (Gustavo Santaolalla) posted a joyful post on Twitter. In it, fans saw a hint of an upcoming announcement related to TLoU II. And thanks to the organizer and host of the ceremony, Geoff Keighley, there is reason to believe that it will take place at TGA 2020.

Gustavo Santaolalla wrote on his microblog: “[I am] happy and grateful! The Last of Us Part II was nominated in nine categories at The Game Awards, including “Best Music Score.” Come and vote. Thanks to Naugty Dog and Neil Druckmann for inviting me on this adventure. This is just the beginning. ” It was the last phrase that caught the attention of users.

Moreover,  Jeff Kelley responded to Gustavo Santaolalla’s message:  “Congratulations! “This is just the beginning ‘”.

Users are sure that the aforementioned phrase in the message was not highlighted by chance, and an announcement related to The Last of Us Part II will take place at TGA 2020. Perhaps the audience will be presented with a multiplayer mode, footage from which has already surfaced on the web. But most likely, you should not count on a demonstration of a plot addition. Earlier, Neil Druckmann made it clear that the developers do not plan to release such additives.
