Details of the Sony Alpha A7 IV mirrorless full-frame camera have surfaced online. The new data confirms what has already been said and what many would like: the Alpha A7 IV will receive a different image sensor. Matrix with a resolution of 24 megapixels will go to rest.

Instead, a sensor with a resolution of 30-32 Mp will be used. Also, the camera will be able to record 4K video at 60 fps. However, there will be simplifications: instead of an electronic viewfinder with a resolution of 5.78 megapixels, an EVF with a resolution of 3.69 megapixels is promised, and a cheaper LCD screen is also assigned to the camera. But neither autofocus nor image quality should suffer. Also, the camera will receive an updated menu.
Sony A7 IV will be released next year, tentatively, in the second-third quarter. The price of new items will be around $ 2500.
