Ryzen 7000 Mobile APUs: A fresh Linux kernel patch has revealed new details about upcoming AMD processors.

More specifically, we are talking about Dragon Range and Phoenix hybrid processors, which are expected to be presented at CES 2023. Both lines will include Ryzen 7000 mobile APUs.

The Phoenix line (Ryzen 7040) will be aimed at mid-range laptops, while the Dragon Range (Ryzen 7045) APUs will be aimed at higher-end mobile PCs.

According to the Linux patch, the processors of both lines will contain graphics cores based on the RDNA 3 architecture, that is, they will be the most modern AMD products in this matter. Unfortunately, there is no data about iGPU. Of course, we can focus on the Ryzen 6000 line, that is, count on 768 stream processors in the maximum configuration, but this is not a fact at all. If such a configuration takes place, the performance of such an iGPU relative to the Radeon 680M will increase significantly.
