New version of Android TV advertises Pixel smartphones

In Ambient Mode, a collection of photos “Taken on a Pixel” has become available.

Google decided not to miss the opportunity to advertise the line of branded Pixel smartphones a bit and, as a result, smart TVs based on Android TV received a small update.

The new version of Android TV advertises Pixel smartphones

In Ambient Mode, a collection of background images called Captured on Pixel was shot on TVs, explaining that these photos were taken using Google Pixel. 

At the moment, the innovation is not yet widely distributed among users of Android TV. In addition to smart TVs, the same collection has become available on Chromecast and smart display devices such as the Google Nest Hub. You can find the collection by going to the settings of the Google Home application on devices. 

In May, Ambient Mode for Android TV also introduced support for the Google Photos service.
