This 3D card will be close to the GeForce GTX 1650
In fact, the first official confirmation of the preparation and the imminent release of an entry-level video card for GeForce MX450 laptops have appeared on the Web. She appears on the slides of Lenovo’s official presentation in the description of the Yoga Slim 7 and Yoga Slim 7 Pro laptops. Interestingly, these models can be the first in the world with the new discrete graphics Nvidia, and with integrated Intel GPUs of the new generation Xe – they are part of the Tiger Lake processors.

Yoga Slim 7 and Yoga Slim 7 Pro will be released in the fall. The younger model will receive a 13.3-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with coverage of 100% sRGB color space, as well as a 50 Wh battery. Weight will not exceed 1 kg. The Yoga Slim 7 Pro is a larger model with a 14-inch 2K resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Weight – 1.45 kg.
As a processor, the quad-core Core i7-1165G7 is announced, but there will certainly be simpler options. There are two 3D accelerators – GeForce GTX 1650 and MX450. Ironically, the MX450 should be based on the TU117 GPU, which … is used in the GTX 1650. So, in fact, these will be models of approximately the same level. The MX450 is credited with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory.
Obviously, other notebooks with GeForce MX450 will come out in the fall.
