OnePlus CEO Pete Lau on his Weibo social network page shared official information about the rear panel of OnePlus 8 smartphones.
According to the senior manager, the new flagships will receive a back panel coating made of fifth-generation anti-reflective glass with a special coating, which the company calls a “soft” texture.

OnePlus 6 was the first device from the company that used a similar protective glass. When it is created, a chemical etching process is used to give the glass surface a matte effect. Anti-glare glass with a “soft” texture has been improved in the OnePlus 7T smartphone, and new items will receive a new generation of this glass.
While the Chinese manufacturer OnePlus is preparing to present its new flagship smartphone series OnePlus 8, the popular JD.com marketplace has already begun to accept pre-orders of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, without giving an exact price.
The presentation of OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro is expected on April 16 this year.
