OnePlus 9 is codenamed lemonade and OnePlus 9 Pro is lemonadep
Earlier it was reported that OnePlus plans to release the new flagship smartphone OnePlus 9 in March next year, and not in April-May, as usual.
OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro surfaced in OxygenOS
Members of the XDA Developers forum found mentions of OnePlus 9 in the OxygenOS firmware code. As previously reported , the OnePlus 9 is codenamed lemonade and the OnePlus 9 Pro is lemonadep.
The OnePlus 9 is expected to be based on the flagship Snapdragon 875 single-chip system, the smartphone will receive an AMOLED display with an image refresh rate of at least 120 Hz, a charging power of at least 65 W and an improved camera.
The upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC will be manufactured in a 5nm process and utilize the ARM Cortex X1 super-core.
It is also reported that these devices will be sold in the US by T-Mobile and Verizon.
