OPPO prepares A73 5G smartphone for Europe with Dimensity 720 chip and triple camera

Not so long ago, a mid-range smartphone OPPO A73 was released on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor with 4G / LTE connectivity. And now it is reported that the OPPO A73 5G device, capable of working in fifth-generation mobile networks, will soon debut in Europe.

The device will be based on the MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G chip, which contains two ARM Cortex-A76 cores with a clock speed of up to 2 GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores with the same frequency, and an ARM Mali G57 MC3 accelerator.

We are talking about the presence of a 6.5-inch display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels (Full HD + format). The front camera, installed in a small hole in the screen, will be able to generate 8-megapixel images.

The equipment will include: a triple camera with sensors for 16, 8, and 2 million pixels, a side fingerprint scanner, an asymmetrical USB Type-C port, a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack, and an NFC controller.

The device will be offered in a version with 8 GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 128 GB. Power will be provided by a 4040 mAh rechargeable battery with 18-watt recharge. The dimensions and weight are indicated – 162 × 75 × 7.9 mm and 177 g. The operating system ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 is used.

The smartphone will be released in Neon and Black colors for about 300 euros.
